BHUT JOLOKIA RED CHILI PEPPER - 1625
One of the hottest peppers in the world!! It measures about 1,000,000 Scovilles (scovilles are the unit of measurement for spiciness), whereas the Habanero is credited with 300,000 Scovilles. Native to the Assam region of India. To maximize its spiciness, it should be grown in high temperatures. The potted plant reaches 70 cm tall, about double that if grown in the open ground.

Sowing: Indoors in a seedbed from January to March, depending on the area and the earliness of the variety.
Transplanting: When the seedling is manageable, transplant it into an 8 cm pot and keep it indoors. Transplant outdoors when the soil is warm and there is no risk of frost.
Spacing: 70-90 cm between rows, 30-50 cm along the row depending on the size of the fruit. Tips: Earth up the plants lightly. Rotate for at least 4 years and do not plant before or after other species of the same family, and not after cauliflower.
Seed Required: 3 g per 1 m² of seedbed.
