A fast-growing tropical climbing pea that produces beautiful 5 cm blue flowers from mid to late summer. Ideal for covering trellises in a sheltered area of the garden where it will attract bees and butterflies, or as a perennial grown in a conservatory. The flowers and fruit are edible. It climbs 1.8 to 2.4 m.
