Sowing and transplanting: For summer-early autumn harvest, sow in March-April, transplant in May-June.
For winter harvest, sow in May-June, transplant in August.
For April-May harvest, sow in September, transplant in November.
Spacing: 60-80 cm between rows, 50-80 cm between rows depending on vigor.
Tips: Harvesting winter varieties after frost makes the flavor sweeter and the outer leaves more tender.
