It produces a large, branched, deep green inflorescence. It is sown in summer and harvested in autumn-winter, cutting the head at the base without damaging the plant, which will then produce numerous tender and very tasty axillary shoots.
Spacing: 70-50 cm between rows, and 50-60 cm along the rows.

Sowing: from April to June.
Transplanting and spacing: in late August-early September for early varieties for autumn harvest. 50 cm between rows, 40 cm in the row. In October-November for late varieties for winter harvest. 70-80 cm or 60-70 cm between rows.
Advice: fertilize with plenty of potassium. Once the central flower has been harvested, wait a few weeks for the secondary shoots to form.
Seed requirements: 0.5-1 g per 1 m2 of seedbed.
