Sowing: in a seedbed or in the ground from March to September. Transplanting and spacing: about 30 days after sowing, 30-40 cm between rows and on the rows. Tips: for blanching, tie the thoroughly dry tufts 10-15 days before harvesting and water only at the base; some varieties blanch well even without tying. Seed requirements: in a seedbed about 2 g per m2, in the ground 30 g per 100 m2.
