EXTRA SIRIO CHICORY VARIETY - 1619
Exceptional for its uniform size and color, which allows for a single harvest. Excellent resistance to bolting and ease of self-hooding even at high temperatures allow it to be used for summer and autumn harvests. The plant has an early cycle, and is also suitable for cultivation under tunnels. The heads reach 400 grams and form a deep red cap, tightly closed and crisp.

Sowing: directly in the field from April to September. In the seedbed, sowing can be advanced and transplanted when the fourth leaf forms. For forcing, sow from June to August.
Spacing: Between rows 40-50 cm, thin out along the row to 30 cm.
Advice: harvest gradually because the plants maintain themselves well in the field.
Seed requirements: in the seedbed 2 g per m2. in the ground 30 g per 100 m2.
