Bishop Crown Chili Pepper - 1656

Known for its distinctive shape, similar to a bishop's hat, also known as the Christmas bell, native to Barbados and South America. It has a medium-low spiciness, around 80,000 Scoville (Calabrian pepper: 30,000 Scoville). It is citron-green in color when immature, bright red when fully ripe. The fruit is rounded, 4-5 cm in diameter, and approximately 5 cm tall.

Sowing: Indoors in a seedbed from January to March, depending on the area and the earliness of the variety.
Transplanting: When the seedling is manageable, transplant it into an 8 cm pot and keep it indoors. Transplant outdoors when the soil is warm and there is no risk of frost.
Spacing: 70-90 cm between rows, 30-50 cm along the row depending on the size of the fruit. Tips: Earth up the plants lightly. Rotate for at least 4 years and do not plant before or after other species of the same family, and not after cauliflower.
Seed Required: 3 g per 1 m² of seedbed.
