Tabasco Pepper - 1654

available icon In stock

Native to Central America and known for its use in Tabasco sauce, the plant is bushy and very productive. The erect fruits range in color from green to yellow to orange, ripening to a bright red. They are 4-5 cm long, conical in shape, and 1-1.5 cm wide. Their spiciness (30-50,000 Scovilles) is not particularly high compared to other hot peppers, but their thick, juicy flesh makes them ideal for Tabasco Juice and for garlic, oil, and chili pepper paste.
