Shrub plant, easy to grow, even as an ornamental in pots or in the ground. The flowers are large and showy, and the fruits, ripe in late summer, open to reveal showy tufts of white cotton wool with numerous fibers over 2.5 cm long. Height approx. 50 cm; flowers from July. Sow January-April. Exposure: sunny and ventilated. Harvest from August to October.
