They are suitable for planting in small groups in gardens, especially rock gardens, as well as in lawns as splashes of color. However, in this case, it is also important to mow the grass when the bulbs have finished growing and the foliage has turned a light brown. Leaving them in the ground will result in increasingly numerous crocuses blooming each year. Crocuses bloom much earlier than other species. The bulbs should be planted from September to December, about 8 cm apart.
• Flowering month: March-April. • Planting depth: 5 cm.
• Flower height: approximately 15 cm. • Bulb circumference: 8-9 cm.
• Exposure: sun or partial shade.
