Tips for growing dahlia bulbs:

Soil preparation: Prepare a well-drained growing bed, enriched with compost or organic fertilizer. Remove any weeds and level the soil.

Planting: Plant dahlia bulbs in spring, after the risk of frost has passed. Plant the bulbs at a depth of about 10 centimeters, with the shoot facing upward. Spacing between bulbs: 30-45 centimeters.

Watering: Water dahlia bulbs regularly, especially during dry periods. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot. Ensure the soil remains moist, but not too wet.

Fertilizer: Apply a balanced fertilizer or a potassium-rich fertilizer once a month during the growing season. Avoid fertilizers that are too high in nitrogen. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for the correct amount and dosage.

Pest and Disease Protection: Monitor plants regularly for signs of pests or diseases such as aphids or gray mold. Use appropriate plant protection products only when necessary, following the instructions on the packaging.

Plant Support: Install a support such as bamboo canes or cages during plant growth to support the stems and prevent them from collapsing during strong winds or during heavy flowering.

Removing Faded Flowers: Regularly remove faded flowers to encourage continued flowering and prevent seed formation.
