Description
Planting potted plants
These dwarf fruit plants are suitable for growing in small spaces and even in pots given the small size of the vegetation.
They are ornamental when in bloom and at the same time allow you to harvest their good and tasty fruits. Depending on soil fertility and annual pruning, these fruit trees grow to a height of approximately 1.5-1.8 meters, with a distance of 2.5-3 meters between plants.
Planting Periods
It's best to plant fruit trees in late autumn, that is, in the months of November and December (before the first frosts), although later planting is also possible in midwinter if the ground isn't frozen. Another good time for planting is February-March, or at the latest until mid-April. If the plants were previously grown in pots, planting can also be done in the following months, taking due care and keeping the root ball intact. Fruit trees grow well in well-fertile, deep, and permeable soil. If the soil is very clayey and rather compact, it is advisable to provide deep drainage.
NB . The ripening times of all fruit trees can be early or late by a week or more, depending on exposure and climate.
