The plant grows about 40 cm tall. The fruits are 10 cm long, thin, and grow in clusters of 4-5 along the main stem. When they reach 4-5 cm, they are excellent for preserving in oil or vinegar, like mushrooms and peppers. It can also be grown in pots and boxes.

Family Solanaceae

Sowing: indoors from January to March, depending on the zone and earliness of the variety.
Transplanting: in an 8 cm pot when it is manageable. Outdoors when the soil is warm and there is no risk of frost, with a clod of earth.
Spacing: 70-90 cm between rows, 60-70 cm along the row.
Tips: earth up, if necessary tie the plants to a support, remove some of the axillary shoots and harvest the fruit before it hardens, therefore still sweet and seedless. Carry out a rotation of at least 4 years, without preceding or following it with species from the same family (tomatoes, aubergines).
Seed required: 3g per 1 m2 of seedbed.
