
CRISTAL FENNEL (Original French seed) - 1194

A semi-early variety particularly recommended for the Italian climate, especially in southern Italy and the islands, with open-field sowing from July to September for an autumn harvest. This semi-early variety is designed to meet the needs of both professional and home growers. The head is medium-large, round-globular, bright white, hence the name "CRISTAL," with full, tender, and crunchy sheaths.

Sowing: Plant in the ground or in a seedbed, in summer, for autumn-winter consumption.
Transplanting: when they are manageable, space 45-50 cm between rows, within the row at 20-25 cm. Tips: Earth up the plants lightly to keep them white and tender, and water generously. Staggered sowing is preferable to always have very tender plants.
Seed requirements: 2-3 g per m² in a seedbed; 25-30 g per 100 m² planted.
