HORSERADISH (Armoracia rusticana) - 8E681-

A very hardy and long-lived plant, it can be left in the same soil for up to four years. The very spicy root is used in sauces.
It grows everywhere, even in mountainous areas.

N.B. During the winter (November-February), the vegetation of this species disappears completely; the root system remains vital and will allow the plant to regrow again in spring.
