ANTI-MOLD (hydrogen carbonate) - 56351-

A white crystalline powder that creates an unfavorable environment for fungal growth, thus protecting plants from powdery mildew (white mold) and scab. It acts by contact, raising the pH on the leaf surface, causing the fungal cell walls to collapse, and dehydrating the spores. Precisely because of this multiple mode of action, sodium hydroxycarbonate has a low potential for promoting the development of resistance. It protects ornamental plants as well as edible ones with a very short harvest interval (1 day). The package is sized for garden/vegetable patch use and comes with a measuring cup.

Areas of use: Ornamental plants for balconies, homes, and gardens, vegetables, berries, grapevines, and apple trees. Withdrawal periods: Unexpected.

Dilute 3-5 g of product in 1 liter of water for ornamentals and vegetables; 50-100 g of product in 10 liters of water for apple trees and grapevines. Repeat treatment after one week. Protects against fungi and buffers the acidity of parasite exudates.
