LEMON CAVIAR "Citrus australasica" (Finger Lime) PINK PULP - 9AG20-

A plant native to Australia, known in its native region as Finger Lime, due to the distinctive shape of its fruit, which resembles fingers. In Italy, it is known as Caviar Lemon, a reference to the fruit, which, once opened, resembles caviar. The plant reaches heights ranging from 2 to 6 meters. The fruit is about 6-7 cm long and about 2 cm in diameter. Inside, it contains a pulp composed of juicy "vesicles" that resemble caviar. Precisely for this reason and its delicious flavor, this fruit is highly sought after by chefs as a garnish.
Citrus fruits are self-fertile, although the presence of another variety (same genus and species) increases fruit set (i.e., the transformation of flowers into fruit).
