It is likely a natural hybrid between lemon (Citrus limon) and sweet orange (Citrus sinensis). It flowers incessantly and, especially after pruning, quickly regains a compact canopy full of highly fragrant white-purple flowers. The fruit is similar to that of the lemon, but slightly less tart and very juicy. It is highly prized for its resistance to low temperatures and its ornamental value.

Plant height upon delivery: approximately 50-80 cm.

Citrus trees are self-fertile, although the presence of another variety (same genus and species) increases fruit set (i.e., the transformation of flowers into fruit).
