They are sown without the pod but with the red skin intact (otherwise they won't grow) and are planted like green beans in holes, keeping a distance of 30 cm between plants and 30 cm between rows. It's important to hoe the soil around them well, as the flower stems go underground where the pods are then produced. The harvest is ready in October, and if it rains heavily, be careful to uproot the plant with all the pods before they rot. To sow a 150 m2 area, you'll need 4.5 kg of seed.
