HYBRID F1 SHISHIMAI PEPPER - 1726

Shishimai are similar to our friggitelli, small green chili peppers, sweet and eaten in one bite. They are the ideal side dish for meat-based recipes, and in Japan, they are an indispensable ingredient for fried foods (Tempura) and Yakitori (delicious chicken skewers).
Grilled or pan-fried with a pinch of salt, they are perfect as a snack accompanied by a good beer.
Interesting fact: the name shishi (lion in Japanese) comes from the shape of the tip of the chili pepper, which is not pointed like ours, but resembles a snapdragon.
