The trap's pyramid shape is adapted to the insect's habits, behavior, and morphology. It's very easy to use, as it doesn't need to be buried.
The trap requires adding a pheromone against the red palm weevil (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus).
The trap has a small compartment where you can add a food attractant (dates, banana pieces, pineapple).

HOW TO USE:
1.Place a food attractant (dates, banana pieces, pineapple) in the small housing. - 2. Assemble the two parts of the trap. 3. - Place the trap a dozen meters from the palm trees and pour about 2 liters of soapy water into the base (the addition of vegetable oil helps limit water evaporation and eliminates unpleasant odors from stagnant water). 4. - Fix the pheromone holder underneath the trap and insert the pheromone. 5. - Check the traps every 7 days and replace the water if necessary. 6. - In case of capture: visually inspect the area around the palm trees and notify the relevant local authorities. 7. - Place: 1 to 2 traps per hectare in lightly infested areas, 2 to 4 traps per hectare in heavily infested areas.
