Pheromones against tomato Tuta Absolutea - 58025-

The adult insect (the leaf miner is a worm), Tuta absoluta, is a butterfly about 6-7 mm long with a wingspan of about 10 mm. The female lays her eggs on foliage or young shoots. The larvae that hatch feed on the leaves they nibble. The fruits show numerous black spots, necrosis, and even small holes that eventually cause the fruit to rot on the plant.
Pheromone treatment is a 100% eco-friendly solution for eliminating this harmful insect.
The principle is to mimic the volatile substances emitted by female insects (female pheromone) in order to help them identify and sexually attract males. The males are attracted, trapped, and eliminated. This prevents mating, reproduction, and therefore egg-laying.
The package contains 2 capsules packaged in 2 airtight bags. Each capsule works for 4-6 weeks and covers approximately 4 m2. Pheromone sachets can be stored in the cold (up to 3 years in the refrigerator - up to 5 years in the freezer).
Recommended treatment period:
MAY-JUNE-JULY-AUGUST
THE CAPSULES MUST BE PLACED IN THE TRAPS 58007 or 58006 TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY
Description
Description
A 100% ecological method, perfectly effective and respectful of crops and soil. Pheromones are volatile substances generally secreted by female insects. They play a role in recognizing and sexually attracting males, who can spot them even from several kilometers away. Each species emits a specific pheromone. This allows for highly precise and effective control of each type of pest. Each type of pest corresponds to a specific pheromone. The treatment consists of trapping the male insect by mimicking the pheromone emitted by the female to prevent mating and therefore egg-laying.
