Capparis spinosa. Perennial. Grows well only in conditions with perfect drainage in full sun.
Staggered harvest of the buds or small fruits, which are used: salted or pickled, in numerous sauces for meat and fish.
N.B. During the winter period (November-February), the vegetation of this species disappears completely; the root system remains vital and will allow the plant to regrow again in the spring.

Description
BOTANICAL CHARACTERISTICS: A subshrub plant with oval leaves and large, decorative, fragrant flowers with white petals.
It loves dry conditions, growing in cracks in walls and prefers poor, sandy soil.
Water sparingly.
HARVEST: The flower buds are harvested from May to September, every 5-6 days.
