The Japanese beetle (P. japonica) goes through a complete cycle throughout the year.
Adults emerge from the pupal stage in June, July, and August and fly to gathering places on vegetation to feed and mate, reaching peak numbers around mid- to late July.

1. Positioning: Install the trap about 1-1.5 m from the ground. Position it approximately ten meters away from the vegetation to intercept individuals heading towards the foliage. Do not place the trap in vegetation.

2. Combined pheromone and kairomone dispenser, attractive to both male and female Japanese Popillia beetles and effective throughout the adult flight season. Remove the film from the plastic support containing the dispensers and insert them into the vertical slots of the yellow panels.
