RED TREVISO CHICORY 2 - 1098

To obtain the characteristic "trevisana" tufts, the roots are removed, the leaves above the collar are cut, and the roots are planted in loose, moist soil obtained by adding peat or well-rotted manure; the soil is covered with soft sand and dry leaves. After 20-30 days, the plants regrow with new leaves.
The photo shows the new leaves after cutting the original growth and 20-30 days after transplanting.
