Description
Sowing season: February to June, depending on the climate.
How to sow: in a seedbed, with subsequent transplanting from September to March.
Seed required: 1 g per 1 m² of seedbed.
Spacing: 40-50 cm between rows and 30-40 cm along the row.
Practical tips: sow in soft, clean soil, covering the seed very lightly. The soil should be kept cool by watering lightly or misting. After about 25 days, the seed will germinate. When the seedlings have 3 or 4 leaves, transplant into beds fertilized with well-rotted manure. It usually takes 50 to 70 days from sowing to transplanting. The strawberry plant lasts 3-5 years, then renews itself.
