MYCORRHIZED PLANT WITH SUMMER SCORZONE TRUFFLE (Tuber aestivum) - 9TA03-

Mycorrhized truffle plant
It is certainly the most widespread and cultivated truffle in Italy due to its adaptability to various climate and soil conditions (it even tolerates moist soils). It prefers calcareous soils with abundant skeleton, but can also be found in clayey soils located between 0 and 900 meters above sea level. It is found in isolated plants and in sparse woods. Prefers sunny locations.
Harvest period: June-August
Plant height at delivery: 10-20 cm
All mycorrhizal plants are certified by the Department of Applied Biology of the University of Perugia.
Description
Description
Truffles are underground fungi that grow spontaneously in specific environments, in association (symbiosis) with certain plants.
After years of research and field testing, and therefore with proven results, we offer a selection of mycorrhized plants (the roots contain truffle mycelium). Only batches of plants that have passed the strict development and root mycorrhization standards can boast the certification issued by the University of Perugia and thus be released for sale.
The best time for planting forest seedlings is autumn/winter, if the temperature is not too low, or in spring, with periodic watering of the plants. Fertilizers and herbicides should never be used when growing truffles. The first results will usually be visible after at least four years from planting.
The truffle plants are certified according to Legislative Decree 386/2003 and can therefore be used for reforestation and forestation.
