TOMATO HYBRID F1 PENSUVIO - 1824
Determinate hybrid tomato variety of the Piennolo Rosso variety. The Pensuvio F1 tomato fruit is oval in shape, with a pointed tip and a weight ranging from 25 to 35 grams. The skin is thick and red; the flesh is bright red with a firm consistency. The flavor is very intense and sweet-tart. A vigorous, healthy plant that is fully suited to open-field cultivation.
The Pensuvio F1 tomato is an improved variety of the well-known Piennolo Rosso, traditionally popular due to the need for fresh tomatoes during the winter months. A prized crop that has established itself both for its low cultivation requirements and its suitability for long winter storage due to the consistency of its skin.

Sowing: in open ground or in seedbeds. The availability of very early varieties suitable for indoor cultivation allows sowing throughout the year. In general, sowing is done in seedbeds in late winter-early spring.
Transplanting: As soon as the seedling is manageable, it is transplanted into 8 cm pots to help the formation of good roots and planted outdoors in late April-early May. In very warm areas, for a late harvest, it can be planted outdoors in June.
Spacing: for home cultivation: 60-90 cm between rows, 45-60 cm between rows.
Tips: grow Marigold plants interspersed with tomatoes to control nematodes; Do not grow tomatoes in the same location for at least 4 years, and do not precede or follow them with other solanaceous plants. Remove all lateral shoots when they are 3 cm long, and remove all leaves below the lowest fruit set. Indeterminate varieties require high supports.
Seed requirements: approximately 3g per square meter of seedbed; 15-20g per 100 square meters of planting area.
