The Blumat automatic irrigation system is ideal for balcony plants and gardens.
Thanks to a natural measurement of soil moisture, it releases the right amount of water through a special clay core. Perfect for use during periods of absence, but also year-round.

Assembly

Fill the Blumat Classic with water and stick it into the ground, place the end of the suction hose in the water container, and automatic irrigation is ready.

For larger plants and balcony flowers, use several Blumat Classics or the Blumat Classic XL.

Remove the green cap

Fill the clay cone to the brim with water.

Press the cap onto the completely watered clay cone.

Place the Blumat into the soil at the root zone. The clay cone must be completely embedded in the ground.

Place the hose in the water container. Done!

The water flow can be adjusted by placing the water container at a higher or lower level.

Tip: It's best to attach the cap only when the hose is already in the water container. This way, most of the air is pushed out of the hose and irrigation starts sooner.
