COMBAVA Citrus hystrix - 9AG10-

Kaffir lime is a small, bushy, and lush tree. Its flowers have an intense fragrance. The fruit is heavily rippled, and although it cannot be eaten fresh, it is widely used in cooking. The peel is an ingredient in spicy sauces and condiments, and thin slices of kaffir lime can accompany fish dishes. The most commonly used part is the leaves, which are the base of many salads and are used to flavor fish by leaving them in contact with it overnight.

Citrus plants are self-fertile, although the presence of another variety (same genus and species) increases fruit set (i.e., the transformation of flowers into fruit).
