Very decorative, both for flowerbeds and as cut flowers, they are hardy and easy to grow. The rhizomes should be planted in any type of soil, as long as it is well-drained and sunny, spaced 50 cm apart.

Introduction: Iris Germanica, or Iris, is a hardy perennial plant that is easy to grow from its rhizomes.
- Soil Selection and Location:
Exposure: Sunny or partially shaded. At least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day are recommended for optimal flowering.
- Planting Rhizomes:
Period: Spring
Depth: Plant the rhizomes with the tops slightly above the ground, about 5-10 cm deep.
Spacing: Maintain a distance of about 40-50 cm between each rhizome to allow for adequate growth.
- Care and Maintenance:
Watering: Avoid waterlogging; they love drought.
Fertilizing: In spring, apply a slow-release fertilizer specifically for indoor plants. Flower.
Pruning: Remove dead leaves and faded flowers to promote growth and prevent disease. After flowering, cut the flower stems back to the base.
