Monstera Deliciosa - EW-12125

A spectacular houseplant from the tropical regions of America, the name seems to derive from the Latin monstrum, meaning strange or prodigious thing, referring to the size of the leaves. These have the typical appearance of the species, with heavily notched edges and oblong holes on the blade, both along the midrib and in the segments.
The minimum temperature should not fall below 13°C.
Light: Monstera loves a bright location but without direct light and grows well even in dim rooms.
Temperature: A houseplant, it should be kept indoors year-round. During the winter months, when the heating is on, it's a good idea to spray the leaves.
Watering: Water regularly only when the soil is dry, generally every 5 days in summer and up to 7 in winter. Don't let it dry out too long, and you can spray the leaves with water if you like.
Repotting: Can be done every 2 or 3 years if desired. Otherwise, add new soil to the pot.
General maintenance: Fertilize in the spring and summer months with a specific fertilizer.
Soil: Rich and well-drained.
