Alocasia Cucullata - EW-30411

Alocasia cucullata is an evergreen indoor plant native to tropical Southeast Asia and belonging to the Araceae family.
This plant is distinguished by its compact structure and deep green, heart-shaped leaves, smaller than other Alocasia varieties. Also known as "Buddha's Hand," in some areas of Thailand it is placed in front of entrances: when the wind blows, the leaves sway, creating the effect of moving hands that seem to wave and bring good luck.
It prefers bright locations but should be protected from direct, intense sunlight.
Care:
- Watering: Keep the soil moist without allowing water to stagnate and spray frequently.
- Soil: Use a soft, well-drained substrate specifically for indoor plants, enriched with draining aggregates.
- Fertilizer: Apply a liquid fertilizer for green plants once a month during spring and summer.
- Propagation: Propagation occurs by division of the rhizomes.
