Native of Central America and known for the preparation of  the"Tabasco sauce." The plant is bushy and very productive; fruits are colored from green to yellow to orange to a bright red color when mature; fruits have a length of 4-5 cm, conical shape, with a width of 1-1.5 cm. The spiciness (30 / 50,000 Scoville) is not very high compared to all the other hot peppers; it has a thick wall and is very juicy which makes it ideal for the "Tabasco Juice".

Distances. 70-90 cm between the rows, 30-50 cm on the row according to the size of the fruit. Tips. Tuck the plants lightly. Make a rotation of at least four years and not before or after planting other species of the same family and not after the cauliflower. Seed needed: 3 g per 1 square meter of seedbed.
