Yucca - EW-15809

Yucca is a fascinating genus of plants belonging to the Agavaceae family, native to dry tropical climates, including Mexico, California, and the Caribbean, and considered the national flower of El Salvador.
Yuccas are characterized by sturdy, cylindrical stems that often resemble trees. Although they may develop a sparsely branched structure, they feature dense tufts of linear, persistent, and tough leaves, often tipped with spines. Their flowers, usually small but occasionally quite large, boast white or creamy shades and hang in imposing terminal panicles.
To ensure the well-being of your Yucca indoors, it is advisable to provide it with the following care:
Make sure to place it in a location with good sunlight, as Yuccas love direct light.
Maintain a moderate watering regime, avoiding both over- and under-watering. Allow it to dry slightly between waterings, especially during the winter months when the plant is dormant.
Regarding the soil, make sure it is well-drained and enriched with organic matter. During the growing season, you can fertilize your Yucca with a balanced fertilizer once a month.
